DONATE CLOTHES & SUPPLIES
Many youth enter our doors needing the basics — food, shelter, and clothing. Through our pantry, Hetrick-Martin Institute provides clothing, toiletries and other necessities with your help. Here are two ways you can donate.
- GIVE EASILY ONLINE: Some of our critically needed items are the least likely to get donated. To make sure we always have a supply of socks, underwear, deodorant and other items our youth ask for directly, we’ve created This Registry, where you can directly donate these much needed items, while choosing exactly what and how much you’d like to donate.
- DONATE IN-PERSON: Donations can be dropped off at 2 Astor Place, 3rd Floor, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. We ask that donations be dropped off in securely knotted bags, and that clothing be separated from shoes and accessories. While all donations are welcome, the clothing and toiletry items listed below are those that are most needed. Contact Sassafras Lowrey (212.674.2600 x 285) to arrange drop-off and discuss other donations.
*If you have made a donation and need an acknowledgement letter for tax purposes, please direct your request to William Hubenschmidt (firstname.lastname@example.org)
